Today, Duke Homestead interprets the farm life and early days of Washington Duke's business, W. Duke & Sons through a site orientation film; guided tours through the historic farm, original factory buildings, and Duke home; and a 5,500 square foot museum with exhibits on tobacco farming, manufacturing, and advertising.

Duke Homestead State Historic Site is supported in large part through the efforts of our support group, the Duke Homestead Education and History Corporation (DHEHC). This 503(c)3 Non-Profit organization runs the site gift shop and provides funds for the vast majority of on-site and outreach activities.
